I never imagined that something as quiet and personal as writing would one day place me on a stage of recognition.

I began writing without expectations. Not for awards. Not for applause. I wrote because some thoughts felt too heavy to stay unspoken, because some experiences deserved honesty, and because somewhere deep inside, I believed that words—when written with truth—can heal, guide, and connect.

Every blog I wrote carried a piece of my heart : https://iaaps.net/fake-or-flawless-the-truth-about-dermal-fillers/

I never chased perfection; I chose sincerity. I never followed trends; I followed my instincts. I wrote hoping that if even one person felt understood, the effort would be worth it.

And then came a moment I will always hold close to my heart.

At the Annual Conference of IAAPS – AESURG 2026, surrounded by brilliant minds, innovation, and excellence, my journey as a writer was acknowledged in the most humbling way. I was honoured with the Best Blog Award—a recognition that felt far greater than any title I had ever received.

What made the moment truly unforgettable was receiving this award from Shabana Azmi. She is someone whose words, work, and courage have shaped generations. Standing before her, I felt the quiet reassurance that expression—whether through art, cinema, or writing—has the power to create change when it comes from truth.

In that moment, I didn’t think about achievements. I thought about long hospital days, surgeries that demanded absolute focus, and writing in between patient rounds and quiet nights after the OT lights went off. I remembered the self-doubt that asked, “Does this matter alongside saving lives?” and the silent hope that my words might help someone understand, feel calmer, or feel less alone. This award felt like an answer—that in aesthetic medicine, healing is not only about techniques and results, but also about reassurance, education, and helping patients feel understood even before the treatment begins.

AESURG 2026 reminded me that progress is not only scientific—it is also human. That alongside skill and innovation, there is space for vulnerability, storytelling, and meaningful communication. Being recognized on such a prestigious platform reinforced my belief that words still matter, especially when they are written with responsibility and heart.

This recognition is not an end—it is a reminder. A reminder to keep writing honestly. To keep choosing depth over noise. To keep believing that when you write from the heart, the world listens in ways you never expect.

I carry this moment with immense gratitude—for my readers, my mentors, and everyone who believed in the power of expression.

Some journeys begin quietly. Mine began with words.

And today, those words found their voice.
